Kjell A. Nordström, Jonas Ridderstråle. Funky Business: Talent Makes Capital Dance

Think Progressive. Think Dell. Think IKEA. Think Chevrolet Suburban. Think Stokke. Think Starbucks. And think Legshow. Lucrative opportunities exist everywhere. Business is not rocket science. It basically boils down to making money. Now, this may not be the reason successful companies are founded in the first place. Remember Disney and Ford setting out to respec- tively make people happy and democratize the automobile. For them money was just a positive result of a much greater pur- pose. Or, as the famous Austrian psychiatrist Victor Frankl so eloquently once put it: “For success, like happiness, cannot be pursued, it must ensue … as the unintended side-effect of one’s personal dedication to a course greater than oneself.”
